Abigail "Abby" Elliott (born June 16, 1987) is an American actress and comedienne, and impressionist. Elliott is best known for her tenure as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 2008 to 2012, following the departure of Amy Poehler. Since her departure from SNL, she has starred on the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the first second-generation cast member, being the daughter of former SNL cast member Chris Elliott. She is also the first third-generation SNL performer. Her grandfather, Bob Elliott, co-starred on a Christmas episode in Season 4.
It was announced prior to Season 38 that after four years on SNL Abby was not returning to the program, with it later being confirmed that she had been let go by producers. After her retirement from SNL, Elliott guest-starred in 2 Broke Girls and How I Met Your Mother.
